AGE community annual meeting

The AGE community annual meeting at the 28t EAA Annual Meeting took place at Wednesday, 31st August, 14:00 - 16:00. A zoom link for the hybrid meeting was sent to all AGE members by e-mail; the location of the meeting onsite was at Main Building ground floor 26.

AGE session Beautiful bodies published!

The book Beautiful Bodies: Gender and Corporeal Aesthetics in the Past edited by Uroš Matić (Austrian Archaeological Institute) has been published by Oxbow Books, Oxford. It is based on the AGE session titled ´Beautiful bodies: Gender, bodily care and material culture in the past´ organized by Uroš Matić (then University of Münster) and Sanja Vučetić (then University College London) at the 23rd Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists in Maastricht (30th August-3rd September 2017). The book is available via Oxbow Books. Parts of the book are also available over Google Books.

The EAA 2020 statement on Archaeology and Gender

AGE members were writing the EAA 2020 statement on Archaeology and Gender, which was adopted by the EAA and presented to the EAA members during the Annual Membership Business Meeting for the 26th Virtual Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists.
