To join

To expand our information network on gender archaeology, AGE is open to everyone interested in gender archaeology. As a current member of the European Association of Archaeologists, please subscribe to AGE in your membership profile. Non-members please get in touch with our chairs to join.

Current Chairs

Each chair serves for a term of three years. Each year, the AGE community selects one member as new chair, to ensure rotation within the membership. The active and passive election of chairs is tied to EAA membership, since chairs liaise with the EAA board on organizational issues and advise EAA on gender-related policies. In addition, chairs inform the membership on news and events, and organize sessions, meetings and publications.
